Hello there, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Harley James and I'm the head roaster & owner at Kojo Roastery. We are a small specialty roaster based in a very little town (under 500 people) Stacyville, IA. I’m very lucky to be able to work with my lovely wife, Karalee Jill, between the two of us we cover all the jobs in a coffee roasting company! Roaster, packaging, social media, graphic design, shipping & handling and much more to make our little company come to life. We appreciate each and every customer and hope you enjoy the hard work put forth to create what we consider, some of the best coffee around!

About the Roastery itself, we operate out of small remodeled & updated lean-to off the side of a big red loft barn. We are of course certified as a commercial kitchen by the state of Iowa and take codes very seriously to ensure delicious, safe, coffee. Our roaster (Giesen 6A) was built in the Netherlands before finding its way to us, it uses state of the art technology with computer tracking software to help us roast specialty coffees to perfection.
